What to Expect from the podcast [Ep. 2]
In today’s show we are going to talk more about what you can expect from this podcast, what we believe, and give you a sneak peek into some of the upcoming episodes.
Our Theme
Our theme is preparing for revival. Now what that looks like for each church or ministry may be very different. It could be one new family, an influx of new people, or a breakout of revival in your community.
Some of the topics I plan to cover are how to be prepared for revival, spiritual gifts, hospitality, and administration.
What We Believe
As I mentioned in the intro, we believe Jesus is the Son of God, that He is the way, the truth, and the life. John 14: 6 says – “No one comes to the father except through him.” That makes Jesus the only way to heaven.
We believe that the Holy Bible is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work” (2 Timothy 3:15-17) The Bible is the holy Word of God and we should respect it, cherish it, study it, obey it, and fully trust it.
We recognize the trinity in the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit and believe in the Supernatural works of the Lord. We believe the Spiritual Gifts listed in 1 Corinthians 12 are not only available for today but that they are becoming more prevalent in the lives of believers as they search for a deeper relationship with our Savior. These are the gifts of healings, miracles, faith, prophecy, wisdom, knowledge, discernment of spirits, speaking in tongues, and the interpretation of tongues.
We also believe there is coming a Great Revival.
What’s Next
We are praying for revival and believe there is coming a Great Awakening which will bring an abundance of souls into the Kingdom of God.
In the first few episodes we are going to be talking about revival, what that looks like, and how it can impact your church and community. We will discuss some “good Problems” that come along with growth and how we can be prepared to handle issues as they arise. I have some interviews planned with pastors and other leaders to help us see from different perspectives and to learn from each other.
I am excited to see how the Lord uses this podcast to help your ministry BE PREPARED FOR THE HARVEST.
