It’s Time to Celebrate!
In honor of celebrating the One Year Anniversary, we are going to do two things. I will be highlighting the top 5 episodes over the last year and will be giving you a rundown of what is coming up! I am also partnering with some guests to Celebrate the occasion with an exciting giveaway!
First, I can’t believe it has been a year since I recorded that first podcast episode!
I knew so little about the podcasting world and how to do all the things.
I am still learning how to do all the things – mostly from making ALL the mistakes.
I have learned to take imperfect action. I have decided to keep moving forward.
Feeling Inadequate
There have been many days that I’ve thought, “What am I doing? Who am I to host a podcast?”
It’s been a slow start but the Word tells us in Zechariah 4:10, “Do not despise these small beginnings, for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin.” in Luke 16:10 it says if you are faithful in the little things, you will be faithful in large ones.
My goal is to be faithful in doing the work the Lord puts in front of me.
When I started out coaching, my clients were leaders in ministry so I titled myself a “Leadership and Ministry Coach”. Then when clients came to me that weren’t really in ministry I just said okay Lord, I will coach whoever you put in front of me. Now I have a variety of clients in different careers and positions. The commonality is that they are all believers in Christ and they all strive to be a light to those around them.
My goal is to be faithful in doing the work the Lord puts in front of me.

Don’t be Afraid to Reach Out
So if you are out there and have thought about reaching out for coaching but weren’t sure because you aren’t in a ministry setting…you don’t have to be!
I talk to clients about everyday life struggles as well as setting new goals and designing strategies that make life easier.
Topics range from decluttering & organizing to health goals, career goals, and ministry goals. We even make plans for hosting events such as Baby Showers, Women’s Conferences, Luncheons, and Transitions into new career positions.
It has been so rewarding to work one-on-one with these clients and celebrate their successes.
Top 5 Episodes of Season 1
Counting down from 5th place to the #1 Episode of Season 1:
5th place – Episode #5 – Are You Serving In the Right Place?
Leaders in ministry wear many hats. Sometimes we end up putting on a hat that doesn’t quite fit. We end up in positions that we are not called to and that we are not gifted in. Find out how you can make sure you are serving in the right place!
4th place – Episode #4 – What Would Jesus Do Today?
In this episode we flashback to the 90’s. Remember the WWJD bracelets? We reflected on worldly issues and considered What Jesus Would Do Today. We even listed some actions Jesus would most likely do if He were alive in our day and time.
3rd place – Episode #3 – What We as Individuals can do to Prepare for Revival
What can we as individuals do to spark revival, how we can prepare for it, and how to identify when a true revival has broken out?
You’ve probably heard this saying, “Draw a circle on the ground with your foot. Then step inside the circle. Now pray that revival would start inside the circle.”
That’s the first and best thing we can do right there! Prayer is vital to revival and something we can all do. We need to be praying for revival and spiritual awakening to start in us and those around us.
2nd place – Episode #6 – The Price of Revival is Surrender with Matt Judkins
We took a deep dive with pastor Matt Judkins on the subject of Revival.
We talked about practical steps to prepare for revival, the season the church is in today and Matt gave a great illustration of what it means to be filled and surrendered to the Holy Spirit. The Price of Revival is the true surrender of repentant people.
1st place – Episode #7 – Individual Revival Brings Corporate Revival with Joe Woody Johnson
Pastor Joe Woody Johnson explains what the Church can do to prepare for Revival.
We discussed how individuals can help usher in revival and how faith is built.
He also shared an amazing testimony of a little girl whose club foot was healed instantly. He saw this miracle with his own eyes! Check out the full episode where you can see the amazing before and after pictures.
What’s Next for Season Two…
I am excited to be doing the first series on the show. We will have four authors joining us in June, one each week.
Usually, the podcast airs on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month, however, for this series, we will have an episode each week. In July we will go back to two episodes a month.

This little girl who had been buried in heartache with a lifetime of suffering began to emerge and rise from the ashes as the woman God created her to be all along. Her personal testimony would be used as a message to the lost and broken, so they could find the deliverance and hope she found in Christ. Lisa Leigh Miller is a wife, mother, pastor, Christian speaker, author, musician, and vocalist. Lisa’s story testifies to the powerful healing grace of God. He miraculously delivered her and brought her to the other side of tremendous heartache and loneliness. Her ministry is dedicated to sharing her personal testimony telling others what God has done for her He desires to do for them. For a list of Lisa’s events visit www.lisamillerministries.com.

Followed by the love story of Jeff & Alesa as they are tossed into a family feud. She reveals the most intimate details of the tragedy and triumph that she faced behind the parsonage walls. Alesa and her husband Jeff now serve US Missionaries with the Assemblies of God. They work in the mission of Church Mobilization in Kansas and Oklahoma, connecting churches in need with those who can meet those needs.
